The Crucible - Miami Music Festival

  • Broad Performing Arts Center of Barry University 11300 Northeast 2nd Avenue Miami Shores, FL, 33161 United States (map)
"An allegory for our modern times: hysterics, politics and who’s to blame? Arthur Miller’s dramatized account of the Salem witch trials is updated in MMF’s riveting production to a gripping and provocative present day social commentary. A cautionary tale of history, American composer Robert Ward expertly crafts a musical backdrop of fear, mistrust and tragedy."

Ketti sings the role of Mary Warren: the young servant to the Proctor family who is lead into hysterical fear by the witchcraft trials. This opera is a mainstage production of the 2016 Miami Summer Music Festival, staged by David Carl Toulson, and conducted by Bradley Moore
